Then, you need to disable pretty much all of Apple's 3 and 4 finger gestures from the Trackpad settings under the System Preferences menu. This app is the only reliable way to get the App Switcher gesture back.īut the only way I found to have the gesture work *consistently* is to enable all 3 and 4 finger gestures - up, down, left and right - to invoke the App Switcher. Apple for some unimaginable reason removed the three finger App Switcher gesture from OS X Lion, probably in favor of the useless Mission Control feature. This wonderful little utility saved my MacBook. Download and use at your own risk on OS X versions newer than 10.8 Mountain Lion.
